Should I buy this?
After doing some research I think this is the smartphone that better fits my needs.
>149€ currently on sale, budget was around that
>Android 5.1
>2GB of RAM
>Motherfucking 5000mAh battery
Downsides
>I know literally shit about the brand
>Some people complain about the sound quality
If it doesn't have a forum on XDA or similar, then be prepared for
>no updates

I've been completely out of touch with the smartphone market.
Is that something I should REALLY be worried about?

If you want to stay on the latest Android version, sure.

Just got a promo notification from eBay.
I could get a Huawei G Play Mini for 139€, 2GB of RAM, better CPU, less internal storage and battery but I think this is a more well known brand.
It comes with Android 4.4 + Huawei Emotion UI 3.0.

if you ever want shit fixed down the road (1 year after its new)
Yes, yes you should.
Why buy a chickphone you have no consumer protection / rights with when the Moto G exists.
Serious question..

I'm not buying from chinks but from my usual online store, two years warranty.

Still no XDA support.
Seriously, you can google "[phone model here] xda" and you will know if there's a community for it. Make sure there is.
