I had Clover or some hokey Chinese shit on my windows 7 install, but I'm running plain Explorer now, what's good for 8.1?

I use Firefox.

Just press Ctrl+O, navigate to the file you want, and press Open.

Firefox then chooses the correct application.

Nautilus, pantheon, explorer or finder depending on what OS im using. I use all 4 regularly.

On Windows I use XYplorer.

On linux I use midnight commander.

Is it so wrong to want a file manager that doesn't look like ass and does everything I need? Best I've tried is Total Commander but it has some odd bug for me where thumbnails flicker.
