stay mad, poorfaggots.
>Owning a $1200 laptop makes you rich
Looking down on you from my high rise faggot
The typical mactard has no other purpose in life other than trying to pretend to be rich.
They typically employ the $1200 memebook mommy bought them, and will try to compare it only to $200 joke laptops pushed out by HP.
Any mention of identical laptops to their memebook that cost half, or far superior laptops that cost the same will be met with: "it dont hav apel logo so it sux! LOL!!!11"
>a MacBook with the best build quality on the marke
>no titanium hinges
>no magnesium frame
>no magnesium base
>no carbon fiber
>mactards actually think this shitbooks have good build xuality
>Fonts Look Blurry in OS X Yosemite
>What's Wrong With Apple's Font Rendering?
>Font in Preview blurry

>Font Rendering Issue...
Both Apple and Microsoft have acceptable font rendering; they just prioritized different things. Linux has shitpoor font rendering out of the box except for Ubuntu.
Font rendering implementations become essentially irrelevant once your display goes past 200 DPI
People have been referring to OSX's font rendering as blurry for ages, especially when they're used to something else. One case study: Safari for Windows. Windows users see Cleartype all over the place, then Apple ships a browser that they shoehorned their own font rendering engine into. Users of Safari for Windows say the text looks blurry, which it does compared to Cleartype.
This is compounded by some of Apple's choices in Yosemite, where the typefaces they selected look great on Retina screens, but look pretty bad on ordinary displays (this is a quality of the typeface, not the rendering in particular).
I'm a PC user but I have to admit Apple fonts, and their screens tend to look superior.
I wish Microsoft would start doing something similar, I also wish Microsoft would create something like iMessage for Windows, so we could have end-to-end encrypted chat.
> I'm a PC user but I have to admit Apple fonts, and their screens tend to look superior.
Have you looked at a Surface Pro 3? It's got a great screen, and once you get into the super high resolutions the difference between types of font rendering disappear.
> I also wish Microsoft would create something like iMessage for Windows, so we could have end-to-end encrypted chat.
I think they're putting all their eggs in the Skype basket for something like that.
>apple screens look superior
except when you have to use one at work and get crazy eye strain and fog after a few hours
also there are some weird vertical 1px wide vertical streaks, running every cm covering the screen of my work imac 2011.
Yeah, it's encrypted, and Apple itself claim they can't access the messages themselves, and they certainly haven't handed logs over even once to law enforcement. This is important because the government where I live (Australia) regularly gain access not just to phone message metadata, but to the actual messages. There's clearly widespread abuse, and I doubt there's really any real justification for ever invading people's messages.
The technology world should get behind encrypting everything, to the point that governments simply cannot snoop anymore.
>Linux still can't even properly render fonts
>kerning? Linux people don't even know what that word means.
imagine buying a fast computer and a good screen when the text, which is the most important part of the UI, looks like dog puke.... that's the life of a Linux user.
is it even possible to get that on windows?
OP here, just came back to as I expected find a bunch of mad faggots with inferior devices.
just admit it. Your shitty laptops will never reach Apple build quality. An old thinkpad might be the closest you can get, but they're becoming dated, and the new lenovo is shit
oh, and surface pro 3? I went through 2 of them, both died on me. Yeah, nah, they're shit.
>Mactype is actually worse than GDIPP
Wow, that's fucking sad.
