inb4 shit speakers, getting some decent headphones soon.
Anyone got any recs for ergonomic mice? My RSI is killing me and would really appreciate something that makes the pain go away.
What's in the Swiss Miss box?
What's in the shoeboxes?
What's on that HDD lying on the second shelf?
What the fuck is Tryckluft?
Why does everyone need binoculars?
How the hell do you get into the seat without backing through the wall?
Yea, I've been working 20 hour days the past 4 days getting something put together for work, so shit has just been building up.
>tfw salaried and no overtime.
and damn I can't spell this morning
What have you got against my keyboard?
Because web pages and stacking windows is better suited to a vertical monitor, also unless you have severe mental deficiencies then you shouldn't have to move your head up and down to view a screen, only your eyes. The same argument could be then made about landscape monitors with moving your eyes left to right.
Also it saves some space to top it all off.
>What's in the Swiss Miss box?
Recepits for technology items
>What's in the shoeboxes?
>What's on that HDD lying on the second shelf?
>What the fuck is Tryckluft?
>Why does everyone need binoculars?
>How the hell do you get into the seat without backing through the wall?
The clearance is like 3 feet, plenty of room for a lanklet like me
I like you. You can come to my house and fuck my sister. (Leave the MacBook at home)
YEAH XENOVERSE how much do you like it OP? I haven't played any dbz games since budokai tenkaichi 3 (2 and 3 had the best cameras, everything else after sucked) and I feel like xenoverse while having a different camera, it is very nice. I like the way it plays. Know of a way to crack online yet or use custom made servers?
>It's like your mom and Target knew EXACTLY how big your speakers were when they picked your lamp.
What if I told you that I bought both on two completely separate ocassions and they just happened to fit together?
>What goes in the little pet bed by the desk? Your DIGNITY?
No, my cat.
It's actually pretty good. Takes a bit of work to get the colours looking just right, and the blacks are meh at best, but I'd still recommend it.
Can't help it, anon. My wife lives in Arizona (worst state, btw), so I'm using that board to put pictures and postcards on. I got the little flags on my last trip down, so...yeah. On the board they went.
I love everything about your setup except for that lego stand. Don't get me wrong I totally get why but it looks tacky as fuck. If you want to stick to the legos I'd say try to go with a color theme/single color.
what lamp is that? is that just the kinda cheap ones I can find on amazon? I really want a lamp with the same spring loaded arm that my mic stand has, but the reviews are always pretty sketchy and I can never decide.
Nice desk though. Speakers could be placed better. Stand or mount for headphones nigga.
Looks cluttered but in a managed way. Digging the foot rest, where did you get that?
Clean, and functional. Again, headphones should be hung up. I hate seeing them in a place where they can be easily knocked off.
Killer storage, cramped looking but mine is cramped too. I would have switched the map with your hooks so that my cables could be grabbed without turning around.
Cluttered as fuck and seriously what is with people and just laying their headphones anywhere? Makeshift standing desk could be better.
5.5/10(Would have been a 5 but muh liquor)
Dem papers, If it doesn't always look like that then good.
Clean, love the mug. Should have gone with a bigger desk though to fit that other speaker.
Looks cool but shouldn't the couch be facing the TV? I guess if you lay on it you sort of do.
I always wanted to have a fireplace, although an elevated one that has a bench around it so you can snuggle up during cold winter nights. I really should look into getting a decently paying job to try and eventually get a family and a house...
I found it, but it's not available to order online, or in any store in my state. Oh well.
Been a lovely and warm day for a change!
Son of a bitch.
As someone who's planning on building their own battle station I was wondering if any of you have any advice in how to approach it.
I figure it would probably be best to figure out everything I want to have and than simply start with a desk that can support all the things. I've been starting to read up on receivers since it looks like that's exactly what I need. I basically want to have a powerful PC, a home console for couch co-op and some specific games and have both of these things hooked up to a monitor and ideally a projector screen that I can roll down when I want to sit on the couch.
I've seen that a lot of you have things from http://schiit.com/
Are these things obsolete with a decent AV receiver?
Also, since I figure I'd start with a desk I was wondering if any of you have any specific advice in what to look for in one. The lifted portion seems like a really smart idea to have as seen in this setup: >>46846863
From my current setup I've also learned I would like to have a back wall to keep the cables away from leg space.
I'd appreciate any and all suggestions in terms of the setup as a whole.
I always say I like it. I still do.
As always, like sheer length, cleanliness.
Again, as usual. It's good.
Comfy, good natural light. Fireplace a bonus.
As per usual, I like it! I like your wallpaper and desk size.
Nice lighting, clean.
Me for reference >>46847716
pic related at first, now I'm starting to feel the urge to do it
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder would mean you're senselessly obsessed with your goal. It is striving toward an idea without referencing if you're actually getting there.
If you're measuring with a tape and actually, successfully making your getup symmetrical then you're doing just that, but if you're fumbling with the stuff on your desk and eyeballing things but not actually doing any work then you're obsessive compulsive.
You become Obsessed with something you notice, and then Compulsively try to correct it, without Order
Tomorrow for sure.
Wonderful evening lads (or day if you live there).
>shit speakers with shit placement
>HAF stacker case
>random graphics card, motherboard, deodorant (?) and coins on your desk
Clean up a bit, also a bigger desk would be nice.
That soup looks tasty, I guess.
Damn nice. What's the big-ass monitor?
Not half bad. I like the how clean it is and I like your dog.
Seems relatively comfy. The floating speaker wires are a bit annoying in my opinion.
I mean there is nothing I can say about this that hasn't been said, but I gotta ask: Why the fuck do you need 3 pairs of headphones.
>that no space
I like that IBM cup. Pretty nice job on the station, no glaring issues. I'm not too keen on the plant in water on the desk.
You get 30 faggot points for the Prodigy, 5 for the minecraft block and 10 per monitor on the ground.
1000 faggot points and a 0/10 for the station because of the queen.
I actually have a bit of space since it is an L-shaped desk. And when I am working on something I do move the second monitor. You got me on the razer headphones, but they do sound decent. And yeah my case fucking sucks ass, any recommendations?
>back wall looks a bit grimy almost.
I need to get around repainting the whole room, but it's too much work.
>Are you in the UK? Just a guess from "lads".
Nah, I'm from Bolgoria, but lads has a nicer ring to it than calling you maini or kurvi.
I would say a Define R4/R5 or H440, but there are obviously a lot of other nice cases. Obviously if it works for you there is no reason to change it just for the looks.
Still trying to decide how to fit my speakers on the desk, and where to put the PC...
I like the lamp.
None of it is really my style but it's organized well.
How do you like the case? I'm considering using the M-ITX version for a friend.
Another not my style, but, looks kind of cozy.
What are you studying?
I like that IBM mug
Is that a dining table?
Simple, I like it.
How can you be comfortable so cramped like that?
Always good to see.
Nice, but a lot of un-utilized space.
I like the ducks.
Has a lot of potential, I feel you could do better.
That Ducky Mini doe
Ever gonna pick up a face for your 360? They're like sub $15.
This is very nice.
Bad picture angle.
That case is needlessly huge...
You really gotta stop with the vague posts, man. Just say it.
Why did you go from three to twoscreens?
Ah, the face on the 360. I have it in perfect condition in those drawers. The problem is that the xbox disc tray jams about 60% of the time, but about 90% with the faceplate on.
Looks ugly but better than prying it off almost every time. It'll probably die soon, anyways.
hey dick nose, don't stack comics laying down, it's bad for them. I want to slap your shit
There can be only one...
I'll be getting some curtains for my new apartment. No more fucking blinds. I hate that shit. Never again.
I got a new PSU from Seasonic's RMA department here in Europe yesterday.
It was sitting on the stairs down at the ground floor just inside the main entrance.
>what the fuck, UPS
It's not even the only entrance to the building.
I live on the 3rd floor.
This building is also jam-packed with immigrants from the Middle East.
>tfw I wouldn't even have known if it was missing
I met a guy from work just as I got to the driveway of the building (we both live here), then we go in, and he sees the box and goes "oh, look, a package".
Then "it's for you".
At least I got it.
It cost me $50 to send the broken PSU to Germany.
Yeah, I live in London. When I took the picture last week the weather was shit. But today there wasn't a cloud in the sky, sunny all day. It's really variable.
Yeah I could probably try and fix it but I can't be bothered. Hopefully it lasts for casual gaming until I can pull the money together for a desktop.
Yeah, I thought about them actually. Decided not to seeing as I'd like a desktop anyway, and almost all but three friends are now on steam and never xbox live any more. Like to try and stay in touch as we can't hang out often due to conflicting schedules etc
I hate the blinds too. My cat is always at them and they dont block the sun all that well.
>It was sitting on the stairs down at the ground floor just inside the main entrance.
>This building is also jam-packed with immigrants from the Middle East.
Someone is lucky.
Have at me, good or bad.
Questions. What's with the monitors on the ground? Why so size conservative? And is that an actual rifle?
Clean, looks nice.
>drink next to mechanical keyboard
Simple and effective.
Looks awful. No color scheme, monitors overlapping, useless clutter, and the surface top doesn't look like a desk.
Looks very solid.
Lego stand is fantastic, but the rest of your setup looks so nice and clean that it seems out of place.
>single sized left shift
I can't stand that.
Clean, but I don't like the components.
>drink next to mechanical
Looks very nice. that lamp would piss me off though.
Looks like you are making the best of what you could between the bad back wall, small desk, and different sized monitors, it still manages to look comfy.
Very clean. Personally, I do not like the curved desk though.
That desk is tiny. if you can get an alternative for lighting aside from the lamp and then could center the monitors it would look much nicer.
I really like that BRS figure. Clock is cool too. You need to clean and get a new keyboard though.
I don't want luck. I want reliable delivery methods.
>You need to clean and get a new keyboard though.
I'm moving in a month. At least the first couple of days ought to be clean living.
And about the keyboard; I'm thinking about getting a Das Keyboard (the new one), not sure which kind of switches, though.
My friend brought back that test thing from WASD Keyboard from when he was working at the Danish embassy in the US. I'll be getting it from him this weekend.
I'll probably get the one with MX Brown switches. I'll need to get a set of keys for Danish layout. I don't want the Nordic layout.
Phanteks Enthoo Pro. I highly recommend it.
Having it under the desk just isn't feasible for me right now for several reasons.
Ah, good you were already looking into a new keyboard. My advice for a first time mechanical keyboard buyer, ignore what anyone says about switches, it's all entirely personal preference.
Well, that's what I'm getting that WASD test thing for.
I'll probably end up getting the Das Keyboard 4 Ultimate with MX Brown switches.
Just to avoid having to gaze upon that ghastly "Nordic" layout. It's literally cancer. And I figure I can always buy a Danish keycap set from WASD and slap it on if I realize I don't touch-type as well as I think I do.
not really into fish but thanks anyway
I don't think you can get this kind of desk anywhere... it's actually custom made by my dad and since he didn't use it anymore he gave it to me
Like the one guy said you could get a fishtank, maybe a small potted plant(great for the feel of the room).
I'm into building models and that would be a great work area for that.
a plant sounds like a great idea maybe I will get one
I also liked the poster idea, any recommendations as to what I should get? Maybe something vidya related or something with nature?
>having a picture of the Queen on your wall
If you want easy to take care of bambo is great and in my opinion would look good there
I don't know about the stores near you, but my local Gamestop will give away their posters instead of throwing them away.
Just find a poster you like online bro, it is your setup after all.
Could anyone advise me on whether to change the map for something else or keep it there?
I have this picture I could put above my desk and move the map elsewhere, but equally I might get something new.
I've had pic related for probably 15 years and have had it up in every place I've ever lived but I'm not sure if it would fit in above the desk.
