Battlestation bread. Old one is about to drop dead. OP is a massive faggot edition.
Let the circle-jerk, begin.
Trimmed the cables like you guys told me
Maybe it'll come today.
Always looking for constructive criticism, or a humorous ball-busting.
I don't know if I am now more /g/ or less /g/ because I've been watching animu lately and I feel a little ashamed.
hello. need to take an updated pic but this one will do for now.
its ok. nothing special
i like it. what is the portrait hanging above your desk?
idk why you are ashamed. why not enjoy good shows?
p boring. nothing much going on
love the desk. shelves above seem a bit much (i.e too many of them), but i'm just nitpicking. the paper poster thing is super tacky though; the idea of what you did is great, but the execution looks bad.
speaker placement seems odd. rest is ok.
seems ok for a dorm station. i don't like that world map at all
bit messy, great desk though
I think that the three monitors are growing on me but I'm starting to wonder more about that speaker placement.
Looks better with trimmed cables, could you do even more perhaps? I like it though, otherwise clean and simple.
I don't know why but I like your station Streetguru
I'm more the constructive criticism type. Looks like the cables at the bottom, under the desk could be bundled together? Hard to see though. The lamp feels a bit out of place, like there should be a more modern one, but if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Nice soft colours, monitor orientation, cable management. I hate that texture on walls, though.
Nice, one of the ones I like to look at. That desk must be pretty long, right?
Honestly I'm not sure what I could say about it. Cable management maybe?
B-but it's better than mine... Cable management, though. Fix it.
Nice shelving. Cables look a bit shabby though. Otherwise good.
As said, speaker placement interesting, but I like otherwise.
Nice to see. Like a nice area to be in, comfy yet clean, neat.
A bit untidy but I like it otherwise.
Clean, soft colours. I like it.
Seems a bit cluttered but comfy. And yeah, the map isn't great. I've got a picture in a frame, I just need to get round to actually putting it up, that's all.
Regarding speaker placement of OP:
If I can find a place to put my tower, I'd probably put the FL/FR, on the desk. The wouldn't fit at an angle facing me though, so they would need to be straight. I've also considered, for when I get my mount, putting the center under the monitors in the front. But that would leave the monitors higher than I'd like.
Not always a bad thing.
not sure why you'd go with a shitty 5.1 budget setup to begin with
unless you're all about DAT BASS, cheaper 2.0 sets outclass them in everything but that.
and ESPECIALLY with budget speakers i'd do everything to squeeze that last bit out of 'em, including positioning.
it's your own choice so whatevs bro, but it's a shame and waste really. especially on horn tweeters
Get a ascii terminal.
I do nazi a need for a monitor.
Ann frankly I think id be reich in saying with so little cooling your PC's gonna get like an oven under a heavy workload.
Whats your bathroom like?
I wanna see your shower.
I want some ideas on how to spice it up a little.
I'm putting a long shelf over it in a couple days along with some pictures. Would it be a bad idea to put things on top of the monitors, like a figure or something?
Again, it really doesn't make nearly as large a difference as you'd think. I do have a higher quality stereo setup, but it's elsewhere as I lack the space here. It's used pretty much only for gaming. And works great for that. I'm looking at getting HD 800's for my desk.
And speaker stands, would probably work, but also look like ass.
no i agree. i don't bother rating yours anymore since like i've said before you know what people dislike and there's no point in telling you.
always a fan. very simple
meh. not a fan.
looks nice. walls look a bland but rest pulls it together.
not much going on
looks alright. yah, i don't really like putting things on my monitors. looks bad most of the time. plus you are getting a shelf, just put it on there.
holy shit. i thought mine was messy. literally shit everywhere. terrible organization. needs a lot of work anon.
you're wasting that much money on those 'phones, and are unable to hear the difference in proper positioning of speakers.
your station looks cool but that one single thing fucks it.
i just now realized there's a better option.
hang the shelf they're on lower, tilt them a bit and screw another wooden plate on it to hold your speakers in place.
seriously man i work in a specialized audio store and this triggers my autism. not audiophile audio store. not thick as fuck cables doing literally nothing. just renowned names (think ADAM, Pied Pipers, higher end studio monitors)
please bro. i cringe everytime i see this shit
I CAN hear a difference. It's just minimal. The sound isn't lost. They're just quieter. I've considered dropping the shelf. And again, J am considering putt them on the desk. It's just trying to squeeze them in.
At least they're equidistant and equally positioned. Unlike many others.
can't see shit
not bad, could improve cable management 6/10
you should probably replace the asus monitor with another dell, and get rid of that razer gaymer keyboard. Otherwise, basic but functional 7/10
very nice. how do you get your wallpapers to line up like that? 9/10
if you didn't have the unnecessary third monitor, you'd have room to set up your speakers properly. otherwise, really good for a laptop station, bit excessive though 7/10
blurry, can't really see enough of it to rate
nice, you should angle your speakers so that they're pointed towards you 9/10
-10 for macbook, +5 for dog, +5 for lizard, 10/10
cramped but nice, other than speaker placement 8/10
cluttered, messy cables, 2 macbooks, 3 headphones, not bad though. 6/10
basic but tidy, I like it 7/10
it hurts to live 3/10
nice, except for the spaghetti under the desk 6/10
stop fucking posting nobody likes you 0/10
nice, but doesn't the keyboard tray limit your knee space a bit? 8/10
Ratings don't really mean anything btw
Made some changes to mine, new picture. It's still shit but I'm moving in a few days, so gonna rebuild it on a bigger, better desk
Will order a TJ08, Hyper212 Evo, fan rubber mounts and HDD rubber mounts for 5.25" when I have some money.
Interesting desk/10, I like it. Thanks for rating the animals so highly
>are animals technology
Nice monitor mounting, but does the mic not interrupt your view somewhat? Generally nice.
That's a nice desk, mate. Good cable management too. Also, is that a footrest type thing? If yes, that's cool as hell
Looks kind of cool, in a random assortment of interesting things way.
Resolution was too good for me, died.
Seriously, it had potential but is kind of messy. Also, that precarious monitor...
I like it, as usual. Was it you saying in a previous thread that you were going to try and get the case onto the floor? If so, good idea.
>Was it you saying in a previous thread that you were going to try and get the case onto the floor?
Yeah it was. However I don't have any money to buy a little desk for this case, and it's not big enough to stand up on its own on carpet floor. Plus I have cats, so that's a thing. And monitor arm will come much later unless I can get some work (which i don't think is likely).
People live like this? 1/10
Not bad/10, whats with the 10000 monitors?
Not bad/10, wires could be hidden better, and mouse pad too big
It's okay, but tight space.
Here's mine, r8, h8, b8.
>2 months old
>bought literally everything at once
>buying another monitor soon
>tfw don't even use my battlestation much anymore.
Looks alright despite the clutter.
Looks pretty good, could use some cable management.
I used to have that chair, it gave me cancer.
If you lived in Ontario Canada I'd give you my old figures. I've got a dozen that are just sitting in storage.
Nice case and keyboard.
Did you just move in?
I like this, desk could be a bit bigger though, to make room for speakers.
It's a little messy
And sorry for quality i don't have photograph skills
Why are your pictures getting more grainy each time?
Holy shit, I had those speakers back in 2001 or something.
>Nice monitor mounting, but does the mic not interrupt your view somewhat? Generally nice.
Thanks. Not at all, it's blocking the steam friend list so I don't really care.
>If you lived in Ontario Canada I'd give you my old figures. I've got a dozen that are just sitting in storage.
Sorry, I live in Paris. ;__;
If shipping isn't a lot, I could buy them...
yeah i know messy asf, still in the process of tidying everything
Same shit, different day. Got a new keyboard, who knows when I'll get it. Fucking massdrop.
I live in Ontario. Do you have a list of what figs you have?
Also waiting to get my T500 from a friend.
