I have shittons of vintage hardware.

What is a realistic price to sell it?

Also, post your vintage hardware.
>>

20$
>>
Post more of it.
>>
>>45434464
How would we know if you don't post what the actual hardware is? Do you have an original Apple 1 or a dozen Atari 2600?
>>
>>45434474
This. They're for novelty only.

I saw people selling those on ebay for like 400 bucks.

>>45434486
Well, I have the first IBM PC with all accesories.
A bunch of commodores, Atari 2600. Texas Instruments.
IBM PC AT, IBM PC XT. Clicky keyboards and that kind of stuff.

Selling them or listing them? It's only worth what someone will pay. I could put up anything for $400.
>>
There's a forum called deskthority.net where people share and sell old hardware especially is they have certain kinds of keyboard caps.
>>
>>45434593
>complete IBM PC
>commodores
I know that at least these will can be sold to "collectors" for a few hundred
>>
I tried to sell my 68k mac lc475 on craigs and ebay, got no offer whatsoever unless a few guy who "will gladly accept your unused computer" spam

Nan Tan 6151 XT/AT keyboard. This is just a stock image, but I found one of these in a recycling center bin a couple years ago, and it's been my main keyboard on my work machine ever since.

ppl literally threw money out of the windows.
>>
>>45434756
actually, this was my second computer ever.
but poor collegefag like me needs the money.
>>
>>45434759
How the fuck did you manage that, those aren't worth anything.
>>
>>45434464
Recycle it. Do not resell it. You will get nothing for it if you try to resell it.
>>
>>45434777
Don't sell it, you will never find one in such a good shape ever again.
>>45434804
So that it can be made into 2 ipads? Fuck off.
>>
>>45434814
Why do you care if someone makes it into a Microsoft Surface?
>>
Do you live in Germany?
>>
>>45434831
Why would you destroy a historic machine in such a good state just to get a shiny consumer product which will be thrown out in 2 years anyway
>>
>>45434849
What else are you going to do with it, leave it in a closet?
>>
>>45434795
well here in germany you can sell one for up to 80 euros per piece. (about 100 dollars)
you just need to sell them on ebay.

>>45434804

that would be a shame. id rathe sell it to a collector who handles this wonderful mashine with care.

>>45434814
i want to build an interface with which i can connect it to newer systems. but, i cant afford food so... i need to sell some of my beloved computers.
>>
>>45434864
I'd play dos games on it
>>
I would really post some moar pictures, but I store most of the mashines at my parents house.
Will probably host another trhead when I come over there to visit and i will take pictures.

currently i am building a sleeper pc out of an old IBM ps 2 60 case

Since you live in Germany, you could check out this forum: http://www.planet3dnow.de/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php/92-Nostalgie-Ecke?

Many people there would be interested in your old hardware.

i have a ton of vintage hardware as well. i'd be interested to see what the market is like for this stuff, no so much for profiting, but to rehome them. throwing it away seems like such a waste.

personally i am interested in collecting unusual circuit boards and vintage ibm keyboards.
>>
I am always hunting down a decent vintage IBM PC.

Mind that I am not made of money either.

When I was in my teens and 20s I had about 80 vintage computers, including a PS/2 portable like OP's picture. Tons of Apple stuff going back to 1978, and some really rare shit like a Sinclair QL and an Australian copy of a Commodore 64.

I sold them all around the time I decided to stop being a shutin about five years. The only real, serious money I got was from some of the rare Apple and Mac equipment. The rest was sort of meh, but some of my nicer stuff had died in storage so I couldn't get top dollar for it.

A lot of the equipment I sold in big lots of Craigslist to avoid the shipping nightmare. Pic related--one of many lots I sold.
