Linux from scratch.
I'm using Microsoft Security Essentials and Malware Bytes. Is this good?
My free trial for Malware Bytes has ended, am I fucked?
How's Kaspersky Anti-Virus?

Contact Terry Davis and tell him that TempleOS doesn't feel holy because it can't be used to communicate with your local pastors.
Then wait about two months.
here you go
all of them are worth checking out

I thought Winamp project died like 4 years ago.
>>45418691
you're right, neither is as good as foobar
why do you want to switch?
>>45418738
I hate having to deal with the playlists in it, they seem to be fickle.
Also Not being able to cycle back in songs when random is enabled.
That shit bugs the living fuck out of me.
>>45418576
It's still a seriously overdone solution.
On Linux, you can bind a key to scrot with flags for whole desktop, current window with or without border, selection only, etc.
>>45418754
set it to shuffle tracks instead of random
i think that's the usual way for music players, random is a random chosen song each time, it doesn't have a history and shuffle is randomising the playlist
>>45418691
Well I like to think of it as a more modern version of foobar. You can customize the panels and/or write custom ones.
Pic related.
>>45418778
its beautiful solution
simple elegant
very customizable
you can set automatic uploads
you can choose loads of stuff
and me getting the hang of scrot and making my own scritps for it..
hell only after about 6 months of being on linux I finally feel comfortable taking quickly fast screenshots and uploading to 4chan
Though before greenshot I used puush and from there I stole a very nice functionality for my scrot scripts
making smart choice if its jpg or png...
a laptop
2.3 - 3 ghz intel processor
at least 200 gb
5+ battery life
for under $500
Is this a realistic goal?? Has anyone come across a deal like this?

MSE is deprecated and Microsoft wille ven tell you that, look into it.
Malwarebytes turned into bloatware
so yes you are.
Kaspersky is Good Eset is Great
>>45417980
Write your own synths using C++. That is the true Linux way. Just make sure your music is modular and simple so others can freely replace parts of the song they dont like with other songs they do like.
>>45418839
Any laptop with the newest i3 will do.
>>45417964
I need these software requirements. Preff local, linux soft, and no cloud-net:

What could replace MSE that's free? Other than Kasp.
