Saw a thread like this a few weeks back, today my backpack got destroyed by my dog and I'm looking for a new one.
Post bags that can
>fit 14 inch laptop
>fit another 3 inches in depth
Propably the chepest and the most stylish bag I have found.
I have this backpack. It holds my 1.6 inch thick Alienware 14, a two inch binder, two one-subject spiral notebooks, a 600+ page paperback Java book, a (disassembled) miniature water pipe, as well as my brick of a laptop charger, a 12000mAh battery pack, and a few peripherals like my mouse.
pls dun hate, it was really cheap.
Shamefully enough, this shit.
Thing is that I don't have any other good backpack to carry my shit when I go to class, and it fits my laptop/books/notepads and even my jacket and lunch if needed. And I don't really have the budget for another backpack right now.
i've had an eastpak for 8 years of daily use and the only thing thats happened is some of the grippy tape on the inside of the shoulder straps has flaked off.
10/10 would buy again
> destroyed by my dog
Post a pic of dog.
5.11 Rush 12
I use an M-51 Engineer Bag. I'd grab a picture but I'm on my phone. It's tall and skinny and has a lot of cool pocket usage. Fits my laptop, tablet, kindle, a comp book, and loads of other small EDC style items
Biggest thing its got going for it? Durability. I live in NYC and I haul this thing everywhere. I've had it for 5 years and it has basic signs of wear.
I have this bag. I don't have a laptop though. Just a 5 year old gate way net book.
Bag is great. Cushioned laptop pouch, leathery strap, not cheaply made. Roomy without being too cumbersome.
I'm looking for a really low-profile sling backpack that wraps around the chest like pic related, it'd be perfect since I freerun a lot. Anyone know where I can look for something like this?
There's this company that makes bags like that for bikers and stuff. I don't remember the name. The store was in Chicago. Might be more that one store. You could get the bag made custom and they would make it in front of you
Thinking of grabbing a overboard sport waterproof bag. Seems like it's under 100$ for a fully waterproof backpack. Seems like a steal, anyone have experience with overboard? They're a euro brand and under 100$ in canabux seems good
I have this backpack and it might be the best money I've ever spent - it looks like just a backpack, but there are so many little things about it that are exactly right, and it can hold more than its size would suggest (it's not a small backpack though)
Yeah, I know. It's just being a freerunner with a backpack like a Jansport is impossible, and every sling backpack doesn't wrap around you, just over your shoulder. Plus they're always baggy as hell when I just want it streamlined. Yet somehow it needs to be 3 digits for the proper sling I'm looking for.
Yeah man decent bags arent cheap. Right now I rotate between:
for my EDC.
I have a 5.11 Rush 24 for other random shit too. Kinda wish I got the 12 though, 24s a bit big.
I have what I think is called the Ogio Ruck 20. Decent enough bag, considering my options were that or a plain Jansport, the padded laptop sleeve inside and padded tablet pocket in front ultimately sold me. Carries an Acer C720, textbook, composition book, regular notebook and folder, some writing utensils, a pen knift, and a bottle of water. There's enough room in there for another two notebooks, chargers for all of my devices, a PSP or 3DS, TI-83 Plus SE, and the bag I had that broke the day I bought this one.
1.) get one of these
2.) put your laptop in any kind of bag that fits
>maybe im just a hipster faggot that doesn't want the same bag as everyone else.
I'm pretty sure nobody judges other by what brand backpack they have (maybe middle school). If anything, people are judged for having a backpack at all.
I carry my macbook air some chargers 3ds and books and shit
You mean Chrome?
I use my Chrome Metropolis daily in all weathers. It's hard wearing and has kept all my gear dry in storm force downpours for the past 5 years riding 25ish miles a day. It carries pooptons and I can't recommend enough.
My T420 fits in this
Not sure you could add 3 more inches in depth though, it's a pretty tight fit
But I love the fact that I can run without the bag bobbing
This is the one i use its a good bag.
25USD from German military surplus
5 years of heavy use
Op. for best bag at awesome price, there is but one:
Bag of Holding
i needed a laptop back for traveling and shit, i picked up this one when i was at ikea.
its hard to see on the picture, but it has two straps on the side, which allows you to to open the bag while wearing it to get shit out, without the lid flying fully open like on a regular laptop bag.
I lust after every bag that Mission Workshop puts out but I'm poor :(
Fuck you its a sexy camera bag.
I've got a Targus EcoSpruce
Wonderful little fucker, fits anything I want it to.
