You may be muscly but do you accept this era of scientism? Your calves, biceps and chests may be pumped, but do you see the myopia of the "sciences"? Do you ever look at the dietary information on the back of your whey milkshake, and think, "Is this it?"

I'd be interested in hearing your ideas on why we should be more critical of the sciences. At the end of the day, empiricism and peer review are the best tools I know of to learn about reality. What other options are there?

I'm a STEMfag and I'm actually a Rationalist more than an Empiricist. Mathematicians don't really have a vested interest in Scientism.
