Around mid-march of this year, I weighed about 265 pounds (6 ft tall), and since then I've lost about 95 pounds, and I'm now sitting at 170 pounds. I got to around 170 pounds at the beginning of September and have been at that weight (give or take a pound) since then. During this weight loss transition, I went to the gym doing the usual cardio/weight lifting. I feel really good about where I am right now, but I still have a significant amount of skin leftover on my stomach and a little bit of flab on my arms and thighs, but that's only really visible if I extend my arms out completely and when I'm sitting down. I was obese (215+ pounds) probably for about 5 years leading up to my weight loss, and I was wondering if the extra skin on my stomach will eventually go away. I don't really have any ab definition because of this, even though I can feel some muscle in my abdominal area from my core workouts. Will that skin ever go away or shrink, considering how long I was at that weight? My stomach obviously decreased significantly, and most of what's left is probably just skin and not a huge amount of fat (I don't know what my body fat percentage is though). Taking this into consideration, should I go on a caloric deficit to try and cut away at whatever fat is still there, or should I just try to go on a caloric surplus/maintain so I can just build more muscle where there is just skin? I don't want to get super huge, I just want to look lean and have some abdominal definition, but it's hard to with how my stomach looks right now
that skin will not shrink back anytime soon. Sorry but the only way to remove it is surgically. Don't worry though you did a great job and speaks more to your character then if you were just a fit person to begin with

Wear it as a mark of pride. It's a shining reminder of your achievement, well done my dude.
If you wanna get the cut, nobody in hell will blame you. Then those scares too become admirable, a less permanent reminder of your progress. Less likely to scare off oneitis too.

If you stop and really think about it you will realize there's no way to get rid of that skin without surgery.
how did you lose so much weight OP? Trying to lose weight

OP probably wasn't a faggot and read the sticky
You retards. Get surgery, noone gives a fuck what you went through, youre always going to be the weird dude with the fucked up skin. I'm sorry my man, but thats just the case. But honestly, in your case, Id just gain muscle. You wont have any loose skin once you put on some quality weight bruh. Good job

At least you're focusing on your loose skin instead of your nipples.
Fill it up with muscle. Not kidding. It's not that bad, working at three times a week, 1hr per workout would fill that up with muscle in a year.

Nah, if he works out his chest muscles good enough it'll pull up all that flesh.
