I just started lifting again after years of not lifting.
What are some quintessential supplements? Are creatine and a protein shake just fine?
At my prime I was 190 pounds at 5'7 and used to be a football linebacker. Now at 23 I'm back to 143 pounds (got sick, details are irrelevant), might have been malnourished for a while, I rarely eat red meat anymore and don't plan in doing so, mostly eat chicken when I eat meat.

Creatine gives you some extra strength and size, but thats it. Drink fuckton of water with it, otherwise your kidneys will die.
Protein shakes are there if you cant get your protein from food. This shouldnt be an issue desu.

Well, fish oil is good for not dying from a heart attack early, your joints and your brain. You can get it from fish, if you wanna eat fuckton of fish every day, you probably dont want to eat fuckton of fish every day. Supplementing with multivitamins/mineral complexes can be either good or bad, depending on what you get and what your diet is. Most multivitamins are useless garbage sold to normies, because of its shit absorption rates. Some of the stuff is good tho. Generally supplementing with minerals is the most important thing to do, as your mineral requirements rise, if you train a lot, as you will sweat out that shit out. Plus being deficient in zync will cause your test to go down and you dont want that to happen. Vitamin D is good during winter or if you are an antisocial shutin like me. B12 is good if you are vegan scum.
Pretty much nothing else has any legit use.
