bands are one of the most underrated training tools out there. their applications are near endles. you can use them for active streching and warmup, you can use them for increased resistence in specifc parts of a lift, you can use them for prehab and pump high rep exercises and more. i got my bench from 140 to 162kg in 2.5 months and i attribute it all to heavy close grip bench with bands to really hammer the lockout phase. i also do 100+ reps of facepulls and band pushdowns every time i bench and completly got rid of my elbow pain + my rear delts got swole as fuck. definitely reccomended as an auxiliary tool, if you think they can repace weights though think again
