What's a respectable weight to deadlift for 10 reps?
body weight of your average fully grown adult male
220-260lbs

Id say bodyweight is a good start for normies, other than that maybe 1.25 times your BW
Keep in mind if you Deadlift 2 plates or less at the gym you'll be seen as either a 14 year old, a woman or a brosplitter
>>42883015
>respectable
So all you really care about is the opinions of others?
>never going to make it
You lift what you CAN lift, and no more. Figure it out yourself. Unless you're a competitive powerlifter or somesuch you shouldn't care what anyone else can lift.
At least 3 plate

This is bullshit and heavily skewed by the morbid obesity of the west

2xBW. "Respectable" generally means that you've actually lifted for more than a year.

so if I weigh 200 I should deadlift 400x10?
>>42883234
pretty much, yeah.
Basically 4pl8

Sure. I was about 184 when I managed 2xBW. But that wasn't really that much (3.5pl8). After lifting some more 10 reps was doable. I have really long arms though.
4pl8 for 10 is achievable within year and a half
200kg for 10 is very good
5 pl8 is respectable even for roiders
6 pl8 is candito tier
