Has anyone else noticed a decrease in sleep quality past a certain threshold of protein intake?
I can't control for all the variables but I've been sleeping terribly lately and upping my protein is the only significant change I've made lately.

Must be something else, if anything protein should be improving your sleep. Protein, is broken down to amino acids and reformed into different protein molecules as your body needs it. Melatonin, the hormone (protein) responsible for the sleep-wake cycle, is synthesized from the amino acid tryptophan. If you look at your protein powder label, it should have a lot of tryptophan. Also, eating more should mean more blood shunted to your digestive organs and less to your brain, which should cause sleepiness. So it's probably unrelated to your increased intake.
When I was 25% protein 30%fat 45% carbs I had terrible sleep. Now at 27% p 58% f and 18% c I sleep really well maybe everyone is different but try out more fat especially saturated fat and from healthy sources not shitty factory farmed.
How do you people fix a really shitty sleep schedule? I need help.
