how the fuck do you deal with DOMS in your calves? i worked mine two days ago and i can still barely walk.
Happened to me too the first time. Hasn't happened since. You're just not used to it.

i've been working out since highschool, graduated college a year ago. i just hit them way harder than i normally do the other day, and i'm wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to reduce the inflamation.

Lots of water and massage
The massage part will hurt like hell but you've got to do it, ideally right before you go to bed give it a crazy deep massage and then try to sleep without moving them at all
nothing you can do, tough it out boi

Well, here is what you wanna do to avoid your calves cramping up.
You should get your minerals and water. Either supplement with a mineral complex directly or do it from diet, it doesnt matter. And drink your fucking water. Calves tend to cramp up the most and cramps happen usually when you are dehydrated and sweated out a lot of minerals, especially if you are doing cardio that day. Massage and hot showers can help you too, but getting your minerals and drinking water is no.1
