Are ab rollers a good way to shred one's abs? Mine are already in pretty good shape, but I'm looking for a way to improve them further without a bench and with tools taking as little space as possible.

It's pretty much the only one I do (and like). No other exercise gives me similar doms.

Sweet; I see they are pretty cheap, too - I think I'll try it out, thanks.

Yeah they're pretty good. I use mine every other day because my core was lagging a lot. Seems to help, make sure you keep your core tight while you do it though so you don't put excess strain on your lower back.

They're ok, but you need someone to load plates on you, and I usually lift alone
wheels + planks + vacuums = results

how to you guys progress from kneeling ab wheel to a standing one?

Once you can do several rollouts from a kneeling position and your core is strong enough, start by keeping your toes on the ground and your shins parallel to the floor. You then slowly start to do the rollouts from there.

Once you can do several rollouts from the goofy table position, you begin the movement from the downward dog position. This is where you can really mess up so take it slow and ease your way by just rolling out and then going to your knees to roll back in. After awhile, you roll out and roll back in with the goofy table position. After that, you practice rolling out and in from the downward dog position with your legs spread out a bit.

You finally begin to start from a front fold position!
Can you be as strong as an old man?
