Just go gym and do running. Honestly I did the full about a month ago most of it was super easy but a lot of running. Make sure you can swim a little and honestly there was a lot of unfit people so it wasn't a challenge I went with a qt3.14 bubba who I really likes but didn't make a move apart from holding hands becsuse of my fucking undeniable autism

The trick with mudder (as it's a fairly tame OCR) is to be able to make the distance (in Aus - 20km). So go on runs on weekends, step it up til you can do the full 20. During week you should do shorter runs up to 3-5km.
I found interval sprints are great for initial gains, and improving speed.
My first mudder I only did body weight + dumbbell for lifts, planks, squats, chin ups, burpees and lunges are good.
You can lift heavier than that, of course, but a lot of musclebros that skip cardio find it hard to carry themselves over the monkeybars after 15km.
