Went on the machines after deadlifts and killed myself with chest workouts, what does /fit/ do when they fail to do a set?
pic kinda related

How many reps did you miss? When I fail a set I make note to hit all the reps next week or add weight if I only failed 1-2 reps.

wait a bit and do another set til failure
I'd rather go to failure and not meet a magic number I set for myself then meet that magic number I made up and then wonder if that's really all I can do
but then again I love trying to set a new PR every single time I do OHP/bench so this is just my goofy opinion

I was on my 2nd rep of my 5th set (I'm doing the SS meme lifts), felt bad m8

I gave it my all, I just couldn't go anymore, hopefully I'll be able to do them all when I do bench press again later this week. Sucked a lot since there was this tall qt besides me when I totally gassed out

even after waiting a bit and dropping the weight some?
if so, you did good. giving it all you got is as much as you can ask from yourself.
never be down on yourself when you did your best
remember anon: numbers do not matter. weight will increase in time so long as you continue to train consistently

I went down from a pl8 to 40 and then 35, arms and chest simply refused to respond, I left before I embarrassed myself even more

then refer to the last three lines of my last post
or continue to be a salty cunt who hates himself
