I'd go to Latvia because it is the most bang for buck I can get in terms of euro vacation due to low cost of living comparatively unless I went to iceland cause they subsidize shit like that but who wants to go to Iceland

Plus its not as decrepit like other Eastern Euro countries. Riga is a great tourist spot, Ventspils and Liepaja are good beach spots and they have this cool national park I'd want to see too, AND if I went in June I could visit during Līgo and Jāņi which are traditional festivals there

Are you retarded? This is just a simple conversion from 0.8g protein per lb lean body mass to x grams protein per kg total body mass, and I round the protein intake up a bit to make room for error in bodyfat estimation.

I.E. Someone has 180lbs lean mass, therefore has to eat around 145g protein per day. Assuming that person is 10% bf their bodyweight is 180/0.9 = 200lbs. 200lbs in kg is 91kg, 91 * 1.7 is 154g. 1.6 is technically all they'd need but nobody is accurate to the nearest gram, so I say 1.7 to leave a ~10 gram margin of error.

But SL goes like this:

1x3; after 3 deloads, the program is finished.
(obviously, there is prior ramp to these)

The logic is sound, if you cant progress with 5x5, progress with 3 sets, right? But this doesn't drive strength gains as much as just increasing numbers. When your progress starts slowing down as a novice you generally need more stress for your body to adapt and become stronger. While the loads are heavier, the stress you'd rather want is more volume. More sets. Doing more sets of your 5max across isn't gonna be very effective either, which is why instead of memeing around on SL once 5x5 stops working you should spent your time wisely and switch to an intermediate progam.

He's wrong but novices can progress with less volume and to some extent SS is kind of a peaking program anyway. Intermediates handle more volume because they have more work capacity and because they need it, not because they recover easier from it.

The only guy who really recommends Texas Method is Rippetoe and guys who ran modified Texas Method to the point where it wasn't Texas Method but they still called it Texas Method.

I did have a lot of success with it regarding squats though I won't deny. But Bench made barely any progress and deadlift actually regressed.

Nuckol's programs and C6W seems to be the popular intermediate choices atm.

531 is back and forth imo, if you run its basic form you're wasting your time but you can do some fun shit with it if you make the right adjustments. Joker sets are fun as fuck.

The bare bones TM is only good for squats
Where you got that particular picture from (powerlifting to win) has some better alternatives, such as not alternating bench/OHP and subbing cleans for a light deadlift variation

You can also find good modifications to TM by googling "12 ways to skin TM"

Whatever you choose, TM in the sense of weekly peaking is the fastest way to progress as an EARLY intermediate, but after some time that will stop too unless you bulk to obesity. Beyond that point, it's better to pick programs like 531, nuckols or c6w that have you doing heavy volume work for a couple of weeks and taper down to a monthly peak

Make sure to do jokers and FSL if you doo choose it, but it still is kinda slow and silly. C6W and nuckols are more specific and better organized. 531 will have you do the same rep scheme for all 4 lifts, even though the requirement for 100% of powerlifters is bench > squat > deadlift > ohp

I've been lifting for years and my insomnia only came about this year. I am fairly certain mine is stress induced because I was also diagnosed with high blood pressure lol, I didn't dare go deeper down the rabbit hole than this.

Are you a NEET or something? A hard day of work should help reset your sleeping pattern.

As someone who has laid there for hours on end I can tell you it doesn't work. You have to get up, distract yourself from sleeping and try again. I once had to wake up at 7am while going to sleep at 1-2am every night, so I went to bed at 10 and pretty much laid there until 4am. Stress induced insomnia is a bitch.
