Weight lifitng in general burns shit for calories as an activity and it really only helps burn extra calories because your body is in a state of repair later.
Noobs can PROBABLY see a lot of calorie burned from lifting. But only when it's focused on the relatively high reps of bodybuilding and it's a full body thing.

Just become a more active person in your day to day life or simply go for hour long daily walks.

You'll burn more calories simply from the boost in your basic metabolism and the extra activity.

I'm 6'1" (manlet btfo) and 206 lbs. My suggestion is fast. Just skip breakfast, even lunch if that's what u wanna fw. You'll be starving for the first few days but all I can say is drink green tea and stay busy. I'm not preaching the fasted state or anything- simply not eating for most of the day will allow you to eat a dinner that is sumptuous by anyone's standards. I just ate an entire teatime pastry by myself and I lost 3 lbs this week already.

Started going to the gym doing cardio only(Used to lift but I have joint issues now) on the treadmill at 15 incline and 3.0 speed. Burned 1100 calories in 40min. Going to try do this 6x a week after work and see if I get any results in a month.

What works for snacking or at least what I did was to get healthier snacks. Dried fruit in moderate portions, those 70~80kcal cereal bars with chocolate, (not sure if it's the correct term but) fruit bars that are made of dried fruit and covered with something else, that sort of stuff

You need to drag her with you, if necessary. Do you cook? Cook at least one hearty meal a day for her with lots and lots of veggies and salads + chicken or turkey for lunch, that will probably keep her full for the whole afternoon

I was cooking a bunch of chicken and butterflied 3lbs of breasts to quick sear and transfer to oven, cut one breast too short and it ripped in half on my spatula and dropped into the hot pan and splash me. Is Planet Fitness as bad as the memes say it is? It's the only gym nearby and I'm probably going to get a membership tomorrow. Anon I had the same question since I had similar stats and height. I started a recomp while doing ss with accessories a month ago and from what people tell me i look thinner and fitter. Personally I don't see any changes but my lifts have improved in this time and it's a lot easyer to have social life while eating 1500 Cal than it is on 1k. So far I like it and plan to do this until Dec and see how I look at winter break.

I'm not turbo fat, but I weighed 106 kg in may, currently I'm at 96-97 kg. Two months ago I started eating all my daily calories over two meals, breakfast and lunch. I had cravings during the evenings for two or three days but they went away. Now I eat only around lunch time (best is to eat as soon as you can after you wake up, but I cant be bothered cooking food in the morning).

The thing is that I eat a LOT in one go. Yesterday I had one whole pork tenderloin, a whole cuecumber, 2-300 grams of green olives, three cookies, a pastry, and half liter of coffee in the span of an hour and a half. I lost weight compared to yesterday, likely would have been more if I didn't have those snacks.

After one big meal the body has a hefty clump of food to work with and I feel full. My cravings has gone down immensly in frequency, and I don't feel like I'm suffering either.

Have you tried using cauliflower as rice? Literally just blitz it up in a blender/grate it - then steam/micro and use it as you would rice. Works well when you have a flavoursome curry as it acts nicely as texture.

Or, you could try cauliflower 'pizza' bases. I make this quite a bit for lunch- so once again rice up your cauliflower, microwave for 3-4 minutes and leave to cool. Add an egg and season REALLY well with salt, pepper + mixed herbs (mine contains basil, oregano, sage, basil + thyme) and then spread on a baking sheet really thin.

Grill each side until it's done - then top as you normally would a pizza. Google cauliflower pizza and you'll find a bucket load of variations- some people add cheese to the base, but as I want something low cal instead of keto that defeats the point for me.

On the recipe front- what veg do people normally add to their fajitas? I've got peppers, onion and carrot at the moment with homegrown corn on the cob for the side.

So, making soup or a tomato based sauce is really good for this- we have a glut of tomatoes in the garden at the moment so I made up a sauce that I can use for meatballs/pasta/go over chicken etc with basically just red peppers, onion, celery, carrots and the tomatoes. That's a huge amount of veg in one sauce. You can find ways to sneak veg into almost any dinner.

Or, the only other way is to try and find a way to prep veg that you like. Take broccoli, you can steam it, boil it, grill it, fry it, bake it etc. Have you tried fruit?

You're going to feel really rough without ANY fruit and veg. I know I feel rubbish when I've not eaten any.

As for broccoli and all, everytime I've read about some veggies I hadn't tried here, I noted it down for when I'd buy groceries next. Hasn't worked out well, maybe because they weren't hidden as you said.
Farthest I can go with fruits is juice or jam (for which I found a few brands that do "less sugar more fruit" recipes, and even then big fruit bits fuck me up). I try man but last time I ate just one strawberry and it fucked my day up. Shit I should try vegetable juice, I'm sure that exists. I mean, not like soup, straight juice of one sort of vegetable at once. Surely that'd be better than nothing, right?
I don't know about feeling rubbish without veggies, but I sure as hell feel rubbish when I'm done puking them out, along with the rest of the meal.

according to multiple studies the impact is insignificant. soy products are worse though they make a very little effect too. like everything in a diet it's about balance, getting most of your calories from one source is never recomended. there's shit in everything you eat, having a varied diet is the only thing you can do. alternate between fish, eggs, lean and red meats/

but it also depends on where you live. the standards of diary products in the EU is excellent while it's terrible in the US. whey protein is your friend either whey, it's almost impossible to eat healthy and varied on a 1500 cal diet without it. i mean sure you can just eat 1kg of chicken everyday but enjoy your hormones and antiobiotic-resistance.
