How much is it normal for your body to burn/waste over night? Pretty consistently, I go to sleep and weigh myself before bed at about 5-6lbs heavier than I wake up at.
I am 6'1, and for example this morning I weighed in at 184.8. At night, I weighed in at 191.2. All I did this morning was pee when I woke up and then stood on the scale. I find is hard to believe I excreted 5+ lbs of urine, so what gives? This has been happening for weeks.
there is no way for you to actually lose that amount of weight overnight.
the absolute max amount of water capable of being held in your bladder is about 1 lb. the only other possible weight loss have been water loss through sweating/breathing.
your scale is most likely off.

That was my thought, but it is my second scale I have tried that on, and reads consistently throughout the day. If I eat, it goes up, I excrete it goes down, if I do neither it stays constant. I consistently weigh in completely naked, so it is not a factor of what I am wearing that could be throwing it off.
