How long for optimal recovery time, meaning whole days (nights of rest)
I do PPL with 5 days of rest.
Pull Monday
Push Tuesday
Legs Wednesday
Push again Saturday
Hitting each muscle twice for every 5-6 day period
Some guys I hear hit a muscle 3+ times a week, meaning they are barely hitting it those 3 times and recover fast, or they are recovering very fast on 2-3 nights of rest
Anything less than 4 nights of rest I am still sore and have a bad workout
