Hello /fit/
Following 5x5 SL at the moment, but have gotten a sharp pain in my Upper thigh/hip flexor since I squat 2 plate last Wednesday - no doubt from bad form in addition to ignoring the pain wanting to hit the milestone. What exercises can I replace it with in the meantime while I recover? Never thought I'd miss squatting, but it just hurts too much at the moment.
do you already do foam rolling/myofascial release? if not you should start. And i dont mean a few warmup squat sets i mean 10-15minutes of proper stretching before and after a session. It will help with the pain and your bad form thats causing the pain.
Dont replace it with anything. if the pains so bad you cant do any squats you shouldn't be doing any leg work until its healed.

Yeah I've tried to squat a few times since I just thought it was like DOMS again, but can't even manage a set. Best to just grit my teeth and skip legs like you say.
