Do you scream or grunt or something while working out? Is it weird to do so? I'm a gym noob

Only if you're lifting something that is heavier than what 95% of the people at your gym can lift. You gotta earn your lunk grunts.

Damn I'm not even close
>>42831445
I scream LETS GO after each rep.
>>42831445
I head butt my reflection in the mirror while screaming "WHO'S HOUSE?" after every set.
If I hit a really nice PR, I might let out a full and proper WAAAAAAAAAAGH

I breathe loudly when doing heavy compounds but that's because I'm desperately trying to get air in between reps. Other than that I might grunt in the last rep or two. Most of the heavy lifters at my gym don't make a sound.

weird faces

Noone gives a shit how you grunt as long as you don't ego-lift.
WHATEVER IT TAKES GODDAMNIT
Those last squat rep grunts
>>42831445
I keep it to myself until I can't. Sometimes do some pretty intense grunting when squatting.

Only the virgin gym-goer doesn't grunt for fear of upsetting people. Chad screams at the top of his lungs with every rep.

I have my music loud so I dont know if I normally make heaps of noise. I think I re-rack weights loudly but I wouldn't know if I take overly deep breaths or grunt. I had people looking at me today during squats so I probably do, but as >>42831464 said, if you lift more than most other people I think you are allowed to, it is a gym after all.
