This thread is about lifting for the right reason - for yourself. I lift for aesthetics, and I lift for myself.
Lifting for yourself, and NOT women, you can gaze at your own physique in the mirror like Narcissus at the pond. Sure you will have BDD, so you won't even be able to love yourself like Narcissus did, but that's not important. And sure, you can even see yourself most of the day, but you'll feel good. Or...at least you would've felt good had you lifted for health and not aesthetics, but that's not important either.
You lift for yourself because you still can't get a girl. And it needs to seem like that doesn't bother you. So lift for yourself. Or at least tell everyone you do. Then cry your creatine tears when you're alone jacking off in the mirror to a DYEL sad sack.
