I feel like my chest are lagging and really want it ti get bigger. I have been recomended trying to hit chest 3 times a week(48hours+ between workouts).
Whats your opinion guys? Is training chest 3 times a week too much? Even with good surplus diet + 8 hours sleep every night?

Bear in mind if you have a big rib cage (barrel chest) it can take years til your pecs look full. Because the muscle is spread over a larger area.

The benefit to this is a higher ceiling for awesome looking pecs (Arnold being a prime example)

just fuck your shit up with volume twice a week

do like 4-5 sets of bench at ~8 reps and then follow it up with pec deck, and on another day do like 5-6 sets of incline bench at ~10 reps, and follow that up with some wide grip pushups or DB bench

each week slightly bump the weight or increase the number of sets, and once your performance dips severely (you'll know when it happens) you have found your MRV, take a deload week and then start back over and build up to that maximum recoverable volume again

Like any muscle if you want it to get bigger then one exercise is not enough, start doing incline bench, decline cable fly's, dips, wide stance bench, overhead press.

Also your overall back development affects how your chest looks like.

Your shoulders and upper back play a part in chest development are you exercising those too ?

You cant lack in any muscle part when you start lifting heavy.
