Why can you work out your abs every day but not other muscle groups?
And obviously you have to use your legs every day for walking around at the very least, so what's the rule there? After a hard leg workout should you avoid waling?
It is difficult to cause as much overwhelming trauma to abs as your legs.

never gonna make it

Oh, that makes sense.
I thought they might just heal faster or something. But it seems they are just harder to rip and tear than your other muscle groups.
Thanks, pretty clear and concise answer.

yeah cause doms are gains right?
Does this have anything to do with white/red muscle types?
In the sense that one of them needs a lot more volume to affect it?

They are already under constant tension so they have adapted to constant low intensity use.
Think about calves for example. They are being use all the fucking time but they are so efficient at what they do that they will not grow unless you do high rep high weight training with them.
Same goes for abs, you'll only get doms the next day if you are doing insane reps or using weight forcing it to work harder than usual
glutes and hamstrings are a bit different because although they are under constant stress when walking or standing the muscle movement for squatting is a radical change.
It's comparable to the difference using your bicep to give your arms momentum while walking vs curling weights.
Much larger ROM and much more tension on the fibers themselves

because different muscles have different SRA (stress-recovery-adaptation) curves depending on their size and how well they're leveraged to experience mechanical stress
for example you can hit lateral delts with volume very often (like 5-6x a week often) with no issues as long as you keep some variation in there to prevent overuse injuries, if you try to do the same with quads, which are big, take longer to recover, and cause more systemic fatigue when trained, you won't recover
inb4 bulgarian method - bulgarian method and other high frequency programs like Dietmar do not overload quads with high volume every session like a hypertrophy program, per session volume on these is low-moderate

Wait, so which muscles have the most midichlorians?

You cant. Its just some broscience rule that never dies.

Doms arent a sure fire signal that your muscles are growing tho, even with no lingering feeling muscles mass has still been stimulated
