So I've just started TM and with me being out of work and having more energy(I was in construction so used to heavy workload) I think I'm going to add a few things in

These being

5x5 day

Add bb curls,skull crushers and pullovers

Rest day
stiff deadlifts,face pulls,pull-ups and chin ups(instead of just one of them)

5rep max day
Db incline super settted with side raise
Front raise super set with decline bench

Run the vanilla template first. Unmodified Texas method is meant for NEETs in their early 20's who have no obligations and can just workout and recover

Well I can recover for now with me being out of work and I may have a driving delivery job soon so It won't be like my old job.

Also I herd the tm method is for use of getting big and strong but it can also be used while training In a sport.

It can make you strong, but big is also dependent on diet.

As far as sports, they mean athletes training in the off season.

Yeh I know it's all diet.Im not a noob been training for a longhorn while but always fuck it up with my weekend antics.

How much do people normally gain on TM ?
And I'm wanting to do the Doug Hepburn method (8x2 then each workout add1 rep to 1 set until 8x3) after it has any one tried that before ?

79-80kg be

I don't eat much so I look like dyel, but from doing Texas method:

145lb bw
185 x 5 bench
135 x 5 ohp
285 x 5, 290 x 3 squat
315 x 5 diddly (home gym and running out of pl8s)

I've hit something of a wall, which can be a result of inadequate recovery, diet, or might be because I'm getting too old (34). Maybe all three.

divide by 2.2 to get non burger units

Been running a TM variation for the last 8 weeks and my lifts have gone from 140 kg squat for 5 to 165 x3. Deadlift 160x5 to 180kg x 3
Bench increased but let's not talk about it
