Does anyone here actually do good mornings? I never see anyone doing them in my gym and I never hear anyone talking about them on /fit/.
Anyone experience good results from them? Thinking about doing them for my lower back since deadlifts just don't hit mine very well.

I did them when I ran Sheiko but only very light weight, and if you do them correctly the main thing you'll feel is your hamstring getting stretched out so hard you look like you have cerebral palsy walking out of the gym

Be prepared to get funny looks from everyone who has no idea what the exercise is.
It's a good stretch for your rear legs, bum and back though so I think it's worth it.

I did them for Sheiko and I did them pretty fucking heavy (almost 3 plates). They destroyed me. I squat 5 plates and doing 300lb good mornings made me want to kill myself. That being said my core got a billion times stronger from them its pretty fucking insane how much they improved it. The trick is once you start getting remotely heavy its way less about your glutes and hammies and its all about your core. If your doing them light you probably wont notice the pounding they put on you. I always finished my day with good mornings on sheiko when it called for it and i wanted to fucking vomit.
