Drinking has always had a really hard affect on my system so I never did it all that much, but since going in for some blood work on my cholesterol (which was high, but my HDL ratio was great) my doctor said I produce high liver enzymes. Got checked again, same thing.
Say, for instance, I do just have a fucked up liver; how am I going to handle not being able to drink? I go to a big university where there's a huge drinking culture, and though I'm not a huge partier to begin with, not drinking would basically be canceling out 80% of regular social activity there. It's so frustrating that alcohol is so engrained into our culture.

My motivation to stop binge drinking was /fit/, why can't you look at it as bettering yourself? You're weak if you need it to 'fit in'

It's not that I'm weak and feel the need to "fit in," it's that having to miss out on something everyone else gets to enjoy for no reason makes me pretty upset.

No one is forcing you to drink.
I'm sure there are plenty of things to do that involve meeting people and not alcohol.
No one cares.
You aren't going to give a fuck about any of these people once you graduate kiddo.
Focus on your studies and getting a good job. Stop paying to party.
