I drink approx. 1.5 gallons of fresh water, filtered from tap every day. Is it possible to drink .5 liters of salt water and then only .75 gallons of filtered tap water?

Reduce chemical leeching from low-quality municipal pipes. Increased sodium

don't be stupid
you can desaltify salt water

There is a reason sailors stranded at sea die of thirst while surrounded by water...

This is a very smart idea. Water is healthier for you if it goes down the wrong pipe.

In that case it's not salt water you retard

Enjoy drinking some zooplankton and bacteria, among other shit living in the water
Well salt water is roughly 3 % salt , the reason the body cant run on salt water is , it uses more force then energy it gains from it... the ratio would be 1 glass of water with a pinch of salt for every 1 gallon. Its not uncommon to drink salt water to help retain watrr prevent cramps etc.... but to be on the safe side i would just do 8oz salt water for 1.5 gallon fresh water.

No. You will die, or at least be injured

I think you would need to somehow determine the content of the water, and dilute accordingly. Oceans around land are disgusting and polluted tho, why would you want to intake all the biowaste from ocean dwelling critters?

I believe seawater will increase my sodium intake
