I started bulking for the first time ever two months ago. I'm extremely happy with the strength gain. I went from barely able to bench 225 to 240 for 5.
I've also gained 8-10 lbs (196 - around 206) but my waist is still 33.5" My question is, what is a typical stopping point? do I just keep eating and getting stronger until I start to be disgusted with my body?

short answer: yes. but if you only gain a little strength you will lose that on the following cut. so be sure to bulk enough

is it weird that I want to experience this level of grease? Like for just 5 minutes, i want to be sitting in a wheelchair with a dirty bag around my neck, smoking a cig and just having completely given up on everything.

Here is what you do.
>bulk till you hate yourself in the mirror, cut till you hate yourself at the gym.
Now don't immediately go on a cut e.g if you hit 220 and want to stop then maintain that for as long as possible and milk the strength gains then once you plateau cut.
Some smart people recommend bulking until 15% BF and then cutting down to 10%. Repeat until you die.
