I want this thread to set the record straight.
Some people say that losing muscle is easy, yet others say it would take serious starvation mode for it to happen.
Who is right /fit/?

It's pretty hard.
You have to only lie in bed and eat very low protein for it to happen on a significant speed.
If you don't work out but still, walk to the grocery store, clean your room, eat well, your muscles will decay very slowly.
People that lose muscle on a cut are people who just got fat as fuck and what they are seeing is their fat disappearing from their disgusting dyel bodies

Actually, no. If you starve, you'd lose fat.
Low cal diet is what you need for it to happen.

So something like losing 0.7kg a week, plus working out, plus adequate protein: it would be extremely hard to lose significant muscle that way?
I'm currently cutting at that rate. 15% looking to cut that way until 10%
