Clarence doesn't have the stats he does because of superhuman

Clarence doesn't have the stats he does because of superhuman freak genetics, but rather from flexibility and proper form. Look at the sheer amount of mass he has on his lower back. Sedentary people who attempt to become powerlifters overnight never develop in that way. I can pull 405 but my lower back above my hips is literally skin and bone.

So what the fuck can we do about it? How to engage those muscles without high bar atg back squats 7 days a week?
Say if you have an injury or you're too tight or whatever. I've been lying flat on my back and raising my hips off the ground without using my glutes and getting some success doing that, just wondering what the rest of you had figured out.

For comparison you can see juji on the left here, has decent lifts but again lacking that lower back mass because of lowbar squats and deadlifting for ego reasons. I'm not saying clarence has bad genes and I'll believe he roids, that still doesn't account for a fucking 750 pull you mongol retards. I could roid and dreamer bulk for 20 years I wouldn't pull 750 as athletically as him. Is /fit/ just a containment board or what? I'm asking some reasonable shit here.

>genetics and steroids don't account for a 750 pull

yes they do

you deadlift 405, which by my estimation should take the average person anywhere from 6 months to 1 year to accomplish, so let's assume you have approximately 1 year of lifting under your belt

who the fuck are you, with your 1 year of experience, to talk about the role genetics and steroids play in lifting? you're probably a beginner or early intermediate still, so you take your current rate of progression and extrapolate it into the future and speak with authority on shit you really know nothing about

saged
>>

Tbh it just sounds like you blame your shit lifts on your genes and natty status. I am going for 600, that's going to require a lot of assistance and advanced technical understanding. At least I'm trying to better myself. You're mad gay dude.

because of GENETICS, STEROIDS, and a lifetime of TRAINING, stop looking for the fucking magic bullet to being like clarence0, it's not out there

you were either born with the potential to get those types of lifts, or you weren't, it's that simple

just train hard and eat right and don't worry about shit you can't really control anyway, what will be will be

OLYMPIC MOVEMENTS YOU DUMB PRICK. Overhead squats, cleans and snatches. Stop with the high/low bar excuse. There's only one way a barbell can sit on your back comfortably, and that's the 'shelf' where the traps and rhomboids meet. (Pic related).
I know for a fact you have never attempted to overhead squat a barbell in your life, because you know within the first three reps that it's extremely demanding of your lower back. DYEL, seriously.

for some reason high enough steroid doses of even just testosterone give that look, once you take something like masteron or even EQ its obvious when you get that slight perma tan, i think it is from increased RBC. high DHT compounds do this the most.

How do you account for that? What factor do you have in mind that allows natty non russian athletes to match juiced russians? To hit 4pl8 in 6mo you either need to be fat or actually have a proper routine and diet to get you there.

For most people they'll waste like 2 years at least doing meme exercises and dieting like shit.

For an actual skelly to pull 4pl8 in 6mo would require them to toss on an average of 12lbs per week since they'd most likely start around lmao1pl8. It's doable but you'd need a good routine, form, diet, and discipline to follow them which are all things new lifters don't usually have.

not true, you could take all the gear in the world and unless you have some unbelievable genetics for response to steroids natty Dorian Yates or Ronnie Coleman would still smoke you

you had to learn one day

a guy with apex strength genetics like a John Haack or Ben Pollack would eat your lunch if they were clean and you could take whatever you wanted, that's just the way it is

for further shaming, go to /plg/ and watch a 188lb 18 year old with 3 years training squatting 585 - a weight most of those in /plg/ who have done steroids have not managed to do at much higher bodyweights
>>
>>42794265

This is pretty accurate. When I was 17/18 (188cm, 90kg) I first stepped into the gym with no more experience than a few pullups, carrying shopping bags and a lot of jacking off. I could lock out 140KG/3pl8 1RM non-sumo but with probably horrible form. My first 1RM squat later than day was much lower at 90kg, but I think that was more a technique thing.

If I had better genes, were into sports beforehand and/or weighed another 10-20kg at the time I can see 180KG/4pl8 being absolutely doable from DYEL (but with decent natural muscle mass).

genetics are flat out more important, if it werent there would be no ipf lifters setting all time records or ranked in the top 5-10 in the world, but there are

gear wont get you 300/220/320 at 83 unless its already meant to be

Clarence has a background in gymnastics, specifically tricking.

This isn't uncommon at all with Olympic weightlifters,(pic related). In many competitions/training, you will see many of them doing flips, kicks, kip ups, etc. This kind of mobility is essential for the sport.

Before he even started lifting, he already had a background in gymnastics, (which makes you fucking jacked) of course hes gonna be strong.

Am I saying that he has 'average genetics?' No
Am I saying that hes natural absolutely not.

TLDR: A background in gymnastics will IMMENSELY help with weightlifting
oh, and short limbs
>>
>>42795446

Would be more apt to say just because you train like Yohan Blake doesn't mean you'll be Usain Bolt.
>>
Does Pete Rubish use fake weights? Why is his strength:weight so retarded after such a short time?
>>
>>42797699

lmao 10pl8 at 225lbs seems legit
>>
>>42797710

245lbs* still fishy
>>
>>42797699
>>42797710

He pulled 870 in competition last year so I'd say that his numbers are legit. If you're looking for reasons to tear him down to make yourself feel better I'd suggest bitching about how he's cheating with PEDs.
>>

This..
>>
Everyone in here already said this, but OP is too dumb to comprehend - every single motherfucking olympic weightlifter (olympic in a meaning they actually go to olympic games) has top tier genetics and is/was roiding. To all those dumbfucks, who say that Clarence was a stick when he was younger - look at Szymon Kołecki and Dadash Dadashbayli, they have even better genetics than Clarence. That's the difference, Szymon has olympic gold and silver medals, has won european championships 7 times and still has world record in clean&jerk after setting it 17 years ago in Sofia (WHEN HE WAS FUCKING 18). How delusional you have to be to think you can get on this level without best genes and best roids?

>Juji disappears for 10 months.
>goes from ottermode to jacked.
>invites a visit for Olympic lifter who has no qualms about anabolic steroids.
What's the point in asking questions anymore.
>>
>>42798045
Clarence might've got a medal if he had a country that supported him behind him
I'm guessing the Irish not being willing to help him pass test etc is the real reason why he's not competing

This. Don't understand how this is even debatable.
>>
>>42798207
Maybe, maybe not. I have been watching <94kgs for a long time and I am quite sure Clarence knows that he is past his prime, it is already too late for him to win at the olympics. Unless he is extremely lucky and every top athlete in this category gets banned prior to olympic games (Adrian Zieliński will probably be back before Tokyo2020). I would love to see Clarence go there and win, but I don't think it is ever happening.
>>
>>42798314
Clarence is 22/23?
>>
>>42798362
He was born in 1993 and in one of his videos with (I believe) Omar Isuf, he claimed that he will do oly lifting for like 2 more years, because he is already too old and then he will turn to powerlifting.
>>
>>42798404
but everyone at the olympics is like 26-30. Roids increase longevity a lot
>>
>>42798423
Moradi was 28 when he won gold, Mohammadpour was 19, Ilin was 20 when he won his first gold, Dobrev was 24 (and now he is dead because of roids), Kakiashvili was 23 when he won his first gold. Maybe roids increase longevity, but if you don't reach apex of your performance before you are 25, then you are done, only luck can give Clarence his gold medal. Also - him being Irish won't help as weightlifting had been always dominated (especially in heavy categories) by Eastern Europe and Iran.
>>
>>42798504
hell no ∫being irish hurts bad. I can't think of single notable irish weightlifter. Clarence is possibly the best lifter Ireland ever produced. Ireland also runs it's olympic program mostly clean which is a huge disadvantage for WL especially
>>
>>42794218
BB back extensions for starters

dadash the goat!
>>
>>42790717
>I could roid and dreamer bulk for 20 years I wouldn't pull 750 as athletically as him
that's because you don't have freak genetics

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
>>
>>42792707
the "supposed pro doping guy" is the one that came up with the method for testing for anavar
>>
>>42798207
then maybe he should move to some shithole that will let him roid for the olympics. happens all the time in oly lifting
>>
>>42801245
Victor Conte?
>>
>>42790463
>what are roids
>>
>>42795251
And how long did it take you to hit 225 on bench? Have you even done that yet? 3 plate squat? 1pl8 OHP?
I've seen scrawnboys pulling over 315 while benching less than 135 and squatting just over 135. It's leverages that matter the most in which lifts you're best at
>>
>>42797791

Aren't all """"""""elite"""""""" lifters on PEDs?

>>
>>42790717
hey this guy makes a good point, take it seriously. Olympic lifters have insane lower backs and turtle backs like in >>42793170
The guy is asking what exercises develop this
>>
>>42802970

He did it the night before in the Q&A and frequently takes cold showers (or used to). His autism may have played a role in how it affected him whilst around other people.
>>
>>42792418
his muscles are trying to save him from the cold.
>>
>>42802941
I may have been bb, you were looking really cute. Good job on 315 too, a strong diddle will be a strong diddle regardless of leverages
