Can somebody here give me a shortened version of what German Volume training is?
Supposedly the huge german bodybuilders like Arnold, Moeller, Gunter, etc... all trained with this.
Can it work for lagging calves?

Works for calves but clearly not thighs.

10*10 on big lifts, supersetted and time restricted
Example routine using gvt principles:
A
Bench + Bent Row 10*10
DB Row + DB floor press 10*10
Curls + Triceps extensions + pallof press 10*10
B
Front Squat + SLDL 10*10
Split Squat + DB swing 10*10
Calves + abs 10*10
C
OHP + chin up 10*10
DB OHP + lat pulldown 10*10
Curls + press down + different oblique exercise10*10
Something like AxBxCxB repeat

that is wrong
only 10*10 for one antagonist superset per workout
+ some extras (for e.g. 4 * 12 - 15)
otherwise you would be doing 600 reps per workout which is absurd and would take hours
so day 1
A1 Front squat 10 * 10 0'' rest
A2 Stiff legged deadlift 10 * 10 120'' rest
B hanging leg raises 4 * 15
C calves 4 * 20
Day 2
A1 dumbbell bench press 10 * 10
A2 dumbbell bent over rows 10 * 10
B rear delts 4 * 12
C rotator cuff 4 * 12
etc
