There is a HUGE difference between casein and whey in biological value (whey is better), aminogram (technically a tie but any decent whey will have an artificially enhanced aminogram) and absorption speeds (whey is faster, casein is waaaaay slower). For a post workout, which should 100% be your priority if you're not supplementing anything, whey is the way to go.
