This has probably been answered before but I'm just wondering how sore/tired should I be after every workout?
Like right now in the program I'm running (SS compound lifts) I'll be a bit sore in the muscles I worked but not torn the shreds and I'm usually good to go by my next workout. Should I increase intensity or number of reps?

There is no ideal DOMS
More DOMS does not mean your workout was better or harder than less DOMS

Perfect. You're past the "gym hurty" stage and can move on.

okay thanks. I figure if I stick to this for a couple months I'm bound to see some kind of change as long as I keep increasing the weight each week. Is that about right?
The first time I did Leg day, I got doms like freaking crazy. I couldn't walk or sit on the toilet. Then the next leg day, there wasn't as much soreness. You'll only get really sore when you do more weight. Doing what you're used to will just make you a well oiled machine over time and won't really feel sore anymore.
More doms means you ate less food than the last training session or you did more with the same food
Eat ginger preworkout, that will erase most of the soreness anyway, i do that when i'm cutting and get too sore

Also I'm gaining weight was too fast and I'm not doing GOMAD, just SS.
