Would taking ~200g of fast digesting carbs (like marsh-mellows) 1 hour before a lifting session result in a better pump/vascularity?

Yeah but only if the night before you eat a few grams of salt and drink a lot of water.

You need the sodium/water in your body to carry the excessive carbs to the muscle cells.

I usually eat 120g of carbs before working out. But a mix of slow and fast acting

OP here. I tested it just now.

I had a good pump, but an amazing pump, but it was alright.

I guess it's hard to tell though because I did lower body (deadlifts, leg press, hamstring curls, quad extensions etc). I did get a nice pump but I guess it's harder to really tell if it was that much of a difference, at least it's not as easy to tell compared to upper body.
