I usually go every second day but I'll have to skip one day
I'm have minor DOMS from yesterday but not really where it feels like I couldn't do my normal routine
should I go to the gym or rest? probably fine but just wondering if it's better to just let the muscles recover more first before doing more weights

Mr frogman, it completely depends on what muscles you trained yesterday and what muscles you plan on training today.
If you got leg doms you sure as hell can go in and do upper body.

Stop being a pussy and go. Some DOMS won't kill you, at worst you'll be able to lift a little less than yesterday and it'll most likely feel better once your muscles are warm. You have to train decently hard for a lot of days in a row to do any harm.
