That fence is ghetto as fuck. If you own the land you are on tear down that shit and put up a wood fence.

Yeah it's quaint

Been trying to invest in some but they're fuckin expensive, also I feel like I'd have to build a platform for Olympic lifts

More motivating and I like the social aspect of it

thanks anon. I can do every exercice that i need to be doing to get stronger. I also purchased a trap bar, a curl bar for triceps extensions and curl and dumbbells for rows and pressing movement. Thats really all i need.

I spent around 1,60 € per Kilogram. I had to buy them new wich made it more expensive. There is no real market for used plates in germany, other than plates with 30mm (1inch) holes. I own around 260kg weights, so around 420,-€

the motivation part might be true in the beginning. If you do not focu, you can easily get distracted or just go upstair and quit it. But once i got used to training at home while blasting music, i really love it. Also it saves time and i do not always work out alone, i have friends or mostly my brother training with me.
pic related, cable pulley

A platform is basically plywood, it's a bit of trouble but not really expensive compared to the barbell and plates

So you only work out when the weather is good? I live in so Cali and even we get rain and shit weather once in a while. Also did you weatherproof any of that?
Best way to add dip bars to a cage?
I've seen one or 2 commercial offerings. Might be worth trying to get a local metal shop to fab something?
Also seen people talk about crossing 2 bars over the safety pins for an expedient solution.
