I am getting a double jaw surgery soon. My jaw will be wired shut for at least 6 weeks after surgery and I'll be on a liquid-only no chew diet.
The doctor said that I would lose a lot of weight after the surgery and I'm afraid that this might affect my gains.
How do I minimize the loss of muscle during my recovery?
I'm getting the same thing next year. Planning to take whey (with whole milk), blended green smoothies, and maybe this beef based protein powder shit I discovered recently.
As far as carbs go, the /fit/ staples of oats, sweet potatoes, and brown rice wouldn't be unpleasant in mashed/liquid form, so all bases are covered.
