Start running, join a running community in your region. Pick up drawing/painting/sculpting, join classes, meet other people that have the same interest as you and talk to them about it. Music? Join a conservatory, get classes, go to amateur music events and concerts.

Now if you're an absolute blob of nothingness and you have no interests at all in your shit life but you still want to connect to other people? Then take your head out of your ass and join a charity, do volunteer work. Do good and people will like you no matter how boring and autistic you are.

What do you think makes other people interesting? Something they do or that they have friends and are social? That may be a good starting point. Though I will say, doing something for the sake of being interesting will get old likely. Instead of that I'd suggest try exploring your own interests, even if you're not sure of them. If you like sports, see if there's a local team to join or if some of your coworkers are in a team, ask if there's a spot.

Something that requires other people to play would be good as it would offer you opportunities for friends and potential partners. Avoid things that leave force you into solitude as you won't be making meaningful relationships that way. Of course don't go overboard.

One hobby I'd suggest that has a dual purpose is learning a language. In order to become fluent you will need to speak with people who live in a country where your target language is native. It would make you interesting, offer you potential friends, and open up your options for connections. Hell it may even be good on a resume at some point, but it won't be easy and must be a habitual hobby to work out. Otherwise any and all effort you put into it will be wasted.

Best of luck OP, and remember it's never too late to change. At any moment you may begin to break a habit and form a new one.
