What do my fellow spinelets do instead of squat and deadlift if you have a thin spine instead of a thick spine and are thus intolerant or heavy compressive loads?

You again. This better not become a new frequent meme.
Neck yourself and sage.

It's going to become a general due to all the shit tier fitness advice on the web
>hurrr everybody should squat and deadlift
You deserve to die.
I learn how to brace my core properly
daily reminder one little mistake is all it takes for a trip to snap city
Does this guy have a thin spine op?
>>42728966
>daily reminder that just because you go to snap city doesn't mean you can't leave
>>42728981
According to OP any size can have a thin size. According to OP, OP is also a faggot.

I dunno. Quoteth t. mcgill err s. mcgill,
> Moving on, I know it's not exciting to talk about genetics since they're factors we can't control. However, genetics do play an important role in this argument for or against repeated spinal flexion, correct?
> SM: We've discovered that the shape of the disc determines its resilience to the number of bends it can survive with minimal collagen delamination.
>For example, while an oval-shaped disc with a smaller radius is better suited for twisting actions, it's poorer at repeated compressive loading. On the other hand, a limacon-shaped disc is better suited to bear high compression but it succumbs to focal stresses at the back of the limacon with repeated bending. This is exactly what's seen clinically.
Your gender and build doesn't determine spine thickness but it seems thick and thin spine are common. Wouldn't surprise me if he did.

Learn how to brace your core faggot, squats and deadlift are here to stay

>thick and thin spine are common
Spine is either thick or thin, both are common. What the fuck are you on about? Then half the population by your supposed preaching of this guy doesn't have to worry about shit.
>>42729031
I dunno exactly how mcgill feels about this but it seems he's implying you shouldn't load up your spine like that with a thin spine
>>42729037
>half the population can't deadlift
>so everybody should deadlift!
that means there's a fucking massive genetic component to lifting heavy and it's not good general advice to deadlift.
>>42729049
>half the population can't deadlift
[citation needed]
i have extremely short arms but i'm trying to fight through it and still DL cause of the hypertrophy/overall physique benefits. tryna reach bugenhagen mode

I'm quoting the person I responded to, I never made such a claim. Spinal thickness of either type is never mentioned anywhere as being rare so I refer to them as common. Feel free to prove me wrong, I'd love to know. Mcgill never mentions thin spine as rare.
Well I wouldn't totally dismiss such a concept
Just like thin wrists mean you will never lift heavy
But does he not have any numbers for spinal size??
>>42728880
I do nothing because I recently broke my back doing deadlifts.
