If you have bad form you will hurt yourself. A lot of crossfeet gyms dont teach good form. A lot of people who go to these gyms dont know good form. They end up hurt. That's about it. Besides that, its effective for cardio, but not so much for strength.

do not do crossfit. The """"""""""coaches"""""""""" are untrained DYELs that preach horrible advice and the entire time will be wanting you to do horrible exercises for your joints.
Just get a gym membership and gym it up there.
Your doctor is the guy that will make the most gains.
