Im trying to increase my pushups and situps, do I need rest days inbetween when I do them or can I do them everyday and get progress?

Also interested in this. Whenever someone mentions daily pushups in his videos Scooby says it's dumb but I've heard a lot of people vouch for them in terms of muscle definition. In regards to OP, I go 3 days on / 1 day off, 100 pushups in the morning / before bed split into smaller sets
