Hey /fit/ newbie guy here.
27 years old
5'10
183.6 lbs
I am *extremely weak*. Have been doing stronglifts for the past 5 weeks. Here are my current stats:
Squat: 160lbs
Bench: 100lbs
Row: 110lbs
Deadlift: 170lbs
OH Press: 80lbs
Initially I wanted to lose weight cause i'm a fat fuck, but at my level of strength it seems retarded to do that so I started upping my calorie intake.
Should I stick to eating above maintenance despite being a fat fuck and try to gain strength for another 2 months before even considering cutting?

Fucking duh, dude. Try lifting for like 6 months, and if you're still weak give this thread another go.
I mean, that's definitely the plan. My question is regarding more about my calorie intake, i.e. should I bulk or cut.

cut and become a trap

So... fucking bulk then.

Ya know, regularly I would just call you a retard but what the hell, have some acctual advice
Here is a list of things you need to do:
1) lift
Do that for about 6 months and then you should be just fine
>been lifting 2 months and much weaker
At least you arent beginning with stickman genetics

Listen, kid, you don't need to 'bulk' if you're already fat. Just keep lifting conservatively, eat a mild deficit, and over time cease being fat. Then worry about being strong. Seriously, do you have any use for being huge? Or is it just some arbitrary, abstract goal based on pics of some bodybuilder or other? In the real world it's not worth the time and effort, and in a few years you'll have more important things to worry about than looking like some video game hero character. If I were you I'd focus on building the life-long habits you'll need to not end up the typical obese, diabetic, diseased normie that way more than 50% of everyone seems to end up being anymore.
