Every vegan article or video will reinforce this notion of fighting the evil meat industry, the dairy industry, the egg industry, the liars and promoters of environmental destruction.

They have minimal evidence of a vegan diet being healthy in the long run, so they change the argument to being a political one. Instead of just saying it's a healthier way to eat, they give you the whole "stick it to the rich people by not eating their poisonous meat" or "why do you want to promote global warming?" So it is no longer a diet based on being healthy but a way of thinking. They're trying to push it as some sort of movement that isn't based on health but based on wanting more people to be on their team.

I equate vegans to potheads. Potheads will tell you how you're stupid for not smoking weed, they'll say how weed cures cancer, it cures depression, it cures every other problem you can think of, the world would be better if everyone smoked pot, etc... And yet they have minimal if any proof to back up anything they say.
