How are One legged deadlifts compared to normal ones? I know it's silly but I find one legged deadlifts to be "more fun" than regular ones.
I didn't really find them any easier on my low back and my balance doesn't really need any help. I just wind up lifting less weight and getting less out of it than other pulls. I'd probably opt for reverse hypers if my low back was suffering or just take some time off. Some people really do well with these so YMMV. I found deep lunges to be really good at hitting my posterior chain so unless you need a pull exercise I'd try those.
definitely can't replace normal deads, a lot harder to use high weight. really good for glutez. they are definitely more fun
