You can learn about anything you are interested in from online academies like Code Academy if you are into programming.

You can take classes in the evening. At my local community college you can take classes for credits or just for enrichment for really cheap.

If you have a job you can work on at home, you can impress your boss and show your dedication. They will remember it when it's review time.

Learning how to cook is a pretty great life skill. It'll help you eat better for your sick gainz and everyone likes someone who can cook.

You can get a guitar or similar instrument used for really cheap and learn how to play it for free on the internet.

What kinda shit do you like to do?

Also, just for what it's worth don't throw out everything you enjoy. Having hobbies that relieve stress and make you happy are important for overall happiness and in the long run will make you stick with other healthy habits you develop.

My sister has a doctorate.

She doesn't even consider it an achievement because she got it for keeping quiet about sketchy shit her department was doing.

Success isn't about what piece of paper you have. Success is about how much you influence society, and how much society gives back to you. It's also deeply tied with contentment in life. If you're happy with your life, then who gives a shit what else you don't have

Realistically they are because they should be. But if you talk to any feminist, they'll tell you that it's sexist to hold women to any sort of standard
>>
>>42705244
I agree 100%.

But the article anon linked to was focusing on women's tendency towards higher education. I think a lot of their unconscious bias towards higher education ripples into society.

They've spent 4+ years in their academic circle of choice and have become ingrained in the society/politics that surrounds it. From the outside, it almost appears as an 'elite club'.

Now I try not to let this concept break my self esteem, but it's definitely a phenomenon I've experienced when I tell some people I'm self educated and worked my way up from the bottom.

Well, videogames are a relationship. They can be anything you want them to be in your life. If you just play something like WoW for escapism, its not the same as having something like playing a competitive fighting game as a hobby for example. I cant really say that it is easy in any way. Fighting games are hard.
> and go after some more tangible achievements
Well, anything can be a tangible achievement, if its important for you.

Just do what you can sustainably do for a long period of time and have fun with. Passion is the name of the game when it comes to this. You dont have to do anything that anybody besides you likes. You cant artificially create passion for anything, it can only be built up. I am a pretty good cook right now, but i havent taken up cooking deliberately, because some faggot on 4chan said that its good for you or whatever. I just liked good food as a child, so my dad fed me the recipe of my favourite meal at the time and taught me how to not cut myself with a knife and it picked up from there.

What do you have in mind?

I'm taking Korean lessons on Italki and it's fucking cheap as shit, great way to accomplish language goals and forcing yourself to study.

Also just finished a 10 week Python course at a University, but that was pretty fucking expensive. For my career I should take a data mining or an advanced stats class next, but I'll probably take something gay like video editing or data security.

Also doing boxing, but considering that I'll never fight in my life you could just replace that with like jazzercise or powerlifting and it wouldn't be any different

On top of all that I play about 5 hours of vidya a day and work a day job

Anything that requires intentionality! In the past year, I've taken up target shooting, lock picking, and juggling. In addition to standard meditation practice, I've found that any hobby that requires deliberate, focused attention helps keep my mind clear through the rest of the day.

I'd also suggest reading every day, specifically non-fiction. It can be historical, political, scientific, you name it. So many loud voices coming from people these days who clearly have no idea what they are talking about.

Kayaking is excellent; with a sea kayak you can combine kayaking and camping; paddle to a nice remote beach, pitch tent, profit.

For the OP:

Reading: philosophy, inspiring non-fiction, history
Games: challenging ones like Chess or Go that require years of study to be competent at and will be around long after everybody has forgotten vidya
Get /out/doors: camp/fish/hunt/camp/trail run
Learn a martial art: TMA, MMA, or a medium range or long range art; 3-gun and precision rifle are a blast
>>
>>42705047
Only feminists and whiny basement-dwelling fedoras and numale betas fall for that shit. There is still plenty of room for capable, competent, hard-working men to have fulfilling and satisfying lives and careers. You have to work your ass off, learn a valuable skill, sacrifice a little (hint; study time and overtime > vidya time), hustle, compete, struggle and self-improve. Ignore feminism's prescriptions for how to be a man; embracing and cultivating the classic masculine virtues (while not being a dick) is key. And while you might occasionally run into some purple haired SJW casting shade your way, they're basically incels. Out in the real world guys who excel at the classic masculine virtues will always be valued and succeed.

It ain't easy, and the numales you intimidate and outperform will carp and try to redefine the rules to make themselves feel better about their failures, but losers don't matter.
>>
>>42703379
That image is a meme at best, women should date a childish man if they want kids. As for you anon, my advice would be to do what the fuck you want to do, if you enjoy it just do it. Don't ask people what should I do or how to do something, the moment you start living your life on the advice of others you forfeit the the chance to fail and succeed at the hands of your own decision. And trust me, learning from your own failures and succeeding is sweeter than having any external voices influencing you.
>>
>>42703379

Learn a language. Learn to cook. Read; doesn't matter what, just read what you like and your interests will expand over time. Get a side hustle.

In the process of giving up gaming myself. I'm fine with occasionally playing super smash with my roommates but trying to get rid of serious computer gaming. Right now filling my time with meditating and my studies. As well as listening to music. Looking at some clubs in uni to join as well to take up some more time. You can really do anything anon. If you're no longer in school and bored after work, can't go wrong with going for a walk, or just enjoying a book. You don't have to find something you can put on a resume. Just something you enjoy and is more then just instant gratification.

>do not marry any woman who is over 25
Hahahahaha holy shit the delusion. Like 99% of 25 year old women have gone through a minimum of 3 cocks already, that makes them sluts. A huge portion of them have had dozens of men, some even over a hundred by that time.
Do not EVER marry a woman that is over 16 years old. Huge mistake if you do. Only marry a virgin. No hymen no diamond.

Yeah lmao at this fucking brainlet. Lions don't even hunt like 90% of the time. They are the ultimate chads, they lounge around in the sun and wait for for their pack of lionesses to bring him back something to eat. He smacks the shit out of them if any of them get out of line. Why hasn't it dawned upon women yet that most men really don't give a shit about their credentials? I have a finance degree and all it says is that I'm not retarded. I didnt gain some devine knowledge that was only available to a select few. Women enjoy the accolades and equate them to an objective measurement to one's worth. Trust me, it is far from it. Will you make more money? Absolutely. Is it a true measure of intelligence? Hell no. The average person with the right motivation, time and funds can get a degree. All it says is that you're willing to work hard. Really hard depending on some degrees.

Also, I don't count a master's degree in education or a PhD in communications as legitimate higher education degrees. Women just love patting themselves on their backs.
>>
>>42706800
2bf the western canon is just a societally prescribed must read list
>>
>>42711598
It's all status for them. The vast majority of them are getting arts degrees, only a small fraction in STEM. That piece of paper says to them that they are worth more than anyone without it. Women do not ever budge on status.
>>
>>42711459
Oh..no.
That's the furthest thing from the truth.

Most "roasties" are desperately lonely and many are childless. And becuase they've been on heavy amounts of birth control and ridden the cock, strap on, fist carousel for years they're more then likely incapable of having children or maintaining a relationship.

And basically all men in their age range are not settling for them or even going after them and they know it.

They're still busy with their various pursuits, making money and wondering if they should order a european, asian, or african bride/broodmare while getting their dick sucked by a "poor college student".

It's no coincidence that similarly aged never married single men with no children are happier and wealthier. Even though women are more employed and better employed then similarly aged men, they manage to be poorer and unhappier.
