So my lifts are terrible now. I used to be a regular lifter and my best stats were 225 bench, 400 squat, 350 deadlift.

I took a year off from lifting to focus on diet and I lost a lot of weight, but Now I can barely bench two plates for 5 reps. This is my second day back into lifting and I'm scared my body might be fucked up. I can't lift shit anymore what the fuck happened.

Any my muscles on my arms are so tight I can barley move them.

I'm 5'7 150 lbs.

>pic related is the workout I started

Should I basically just start over and go back to starting strength?

are you literally retarded?

> but Now I can barely bench two plates for 5 reps.

but your previous best was 225. do you mean one plate on each side (135)?

>I can't lift shit anymore what the fuck happened.

you took a year off of training, dipshit. you're no longer adapted to the weight you were doing.

pick up a linear program and try to readjust. please tell me you're a troll.

Yes I meant one plate on both sides.

What more help do you need?

Did you think you'd magically stay as strong as you used to be after taking an entire fucking year off?

It doesn't work that way. You use it or lose it. You didnt use it, so you lost it. Not to mention you lost weight. Jesus christ.

I don't know why you're having trouble wrapping your mind around this. Eat more, get back to training, and stop shitting up /fit/ with your pointless threads.

That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. As for your issue, just lower the weight and work your way back up with whatever program you want. If those were your lifts then you know how to get stronger and you should have known that you'll lose strength after a year of not lifting. Duh.
